AQUASTERIL® TRAMP – Water disinfection for hiking and expeditions

The AQUASTERIL® TRAMP kit is designed for quick and effective water disinfection. With this kit, you can destroy microorganisms in water, including bacteria, viruses and parasites, and obtain microbially safe water.

Using the kit

The AQUASTERIL® TRAMP kit can be used when hiking, trekking and staying in places where microbially safe water is not available, regardless of the climatic conditions. Thanks to the dosage by means of a spoon placed inside each reagent container, it is possible to treat any amount of water, up to a volume of 300 l. The method of use is also illustrated on the packaging with clear pictograms.

This kit is ideal for the emergency preparation of safe water in situations where no other reliable water source is available. It contains a vitamin-based dechlorinating agent that eliminates chlorine odours. Use of the kit does not affect the chemical or perceptual properties of the water, so it is advisable to choose the visually clearest water available for treatment. Water treated with the AQUASTERIL® TRAMP system is microbially safe and can be used for a variety of purposes, including drinking, depending on the perceptual and chemical properties of the input water.

• Drinking and cooking
• Beverage preparation
• Food washing
• Personal hygiene
• Washing wounds
• Hiking, camping, expeditions and staying in places without drinking water or water of unknown quality
• Disposal of bacteria, viruses and parasites in water
• Long-term preservation of water
• Disinfection of water of poor or unknown origin

The lifetime of the kit is at least 5 years if proper storage is observed.

This kit is approved by the Chief Hygienist of the Czech Republic by Decision No. HEM-3244-24.5.01/14301.

Composition of the kit. Each container is equipped with a spoon for easy dosing of the reagent. Disinfectant A is marked in red, dechlorinating agent B is marked in blue. The kit is designed to disinfect up to 300 litres of water.
